SUPER IMOLA 186 CYLINDER KIT

The Super Imola is a superb cylinder kit for the smaller 125/150/175 engine cases on Lambrettas. Included in the kit is cylinder kit, reed box, reeds, cylinder head, piston, rings, gaskets, studs and nuts. The Super Imola is a multi port layout cylinder kit, which produces power much lower down then ALL of its rivals. Lower revs gives more torque, longer life of engine components and the engine itself.
The sub power delivery is still very strong at 20bhp between 4,000 to 5,500 revs. Main power is delivered at 5,500 to 8,000 rpm. The torque curve between 5,500 to 8,000 is completely flat giving 20ft lbs. The motor will pull tall gearing, giving a more relaxed ride then say the RB or Casa SS kits
The Super Imola will require its own specific exhaust, minimum 30mm PHBH carburettor, a decent crankshaft and variable timing kit at minimum. Make no mistake, this is a high end kit that requires good knowledge and skills to build, but you will be rewarded in the end.
